Practice for the speaking contests has started. Creed practices are on Tuesday & Thrusdays at lunch and Impromtu, Prepared, Job Interview and Extemp are on Wednesday & Fridays.
The chapter is also creating updates that will air on KWMR radio once a month. It should air on the First MOnday of each month at 4pm. For more information contact KWMR.
If you are interested in taking a pig or lamb to the Marin County Fair please contact me asap. I am trying to work outhte details with the fiar grounds in January to allow students to take 2 pigs this year and start the Lamb Show/Sale.
Our first sign was officially completed last week with our Torchmate computerized plasma cutter. We are now accepting orders. A 2'x3'x3/16" sign will cost approximately $250 for bare metal depending on the layout. If you want it painted it is an extera $50.
The Marin RCD donated a no till seeder to the chapter back in the early fall. It rents for $100 for MALT members and $200 for Non-MALT members. Please contact me for more information or to set up a rental time. There is usually a waiting list. So far we have been able to bring in over $800 in profit from the rentals!
