Our first annual Coffee Sale in September was a huge sucess! We sold over $3000 worth of coffee, fudge and cookie mix. Thank you to everyone that supported the event. We will being doing it again next year.
The Officer Team has been busy for the past few months with activities and plans fo the new school year. We went to Fort Bragg in August for four days to plan out the year and hold the annual officer retreat. Everyone had a great time and bonded well as a team.
Summer fairs went well with students competing in 3 different local fairs. Pig numbers were up at Marin County Fair, but down at Santa Rosa Fair. Overall everyone did well at all three fairs. The FFA Ice Cream Social was a hit again the second week we were back at school. Six freshman attended the Greenhand Conference at UC Davis in early September. The first week of October was filled with activities for the Greenhands at lunch and was finished off by a lunch on October 6th. The 8th Annuall FFA Canned Food Drive started on October 9th and continues until this Friday the 20th.
